day trip.

{a couple of lattes over the weekend}

good morning! i'm heading to sausalito the first time with a new friend, Casey. she just moved from texas to california for her husband's job, too - we have a lot in common! we're going to have lunch there and explore the city a bit.

any of you california readers have any suggestions for where to have lunch?

I actually work in Sausalito, and an adorable little lunch spot & delicious coffee house is Cibo on Bridgeway. It isn't great for the view like some other more touristy places, but it is delish! Another great spot (on a nice day) is Le Garage - amazing french inspired lunch fare.

Have FUN & enjoy!

One of my favorite spots!!! I prefer riding my bike from the ferry building in SF, across the Golden Gate and then into Sausalito .. it is a decent ride but on a crisp cool Autumn day the views are simply gorgeous. Hope you enjoyed yourself!! XO

here's a list for next time: my parents live in sausalito.

poggio - i used to work there. great italian food, fun ambiance.

fish - amazing, i did a review of it...right by the water, cash only, here's the review:

le garage - amazing french food, right by the water, a little pricey but SO good and fun

angelinos - classic sausalito italian. ive been going here since i was a baby.

for a quick meal, stop by Hamburger and go eat by the water. best hamburger ever. and crinkle cut fries!

I do the same thing as Caroline! Except my bf and I did the bike ride all the way to Tiburon and ate at Sam's. It was quite the ride.

I love so many places around here. DO you like in LG? I eat at Andales all the time. You may see me in there in my pajamas! Nothing fancy, but great food!
