after saturday's proposal, dave and justine decided to have a little happy hour/engagement celebration with everyone. nicholas was in dallas for work and, of course, i didn't want to be left out... so nicholas decided that i should fly down for the night and celebrate! he is so spontaneous, huh?! on monday, i talked to my manager and she said it was fine, so off i went!

it my first time back to dallas/fort worth since i moved eight months ago. and, we didn't tell justine i was coming, so it was a complete surprise.
i had SO MUCH FUN seeing everyone and enjoying a warm night (we don't have warm nights in cali!) on the patio at cedar social. the unassuming bar was so cool... it had a retro vibe, lots of delicious cocktails and food and great service.
geeze, i really miss texas.
crab cake sliders - yum!

i was sad to have to leave the next day, but so happy that i was there to celebrate. and, we get to continue the celebrations in barbados in less than a month!!

that is sooo sweet! and definitely a great surprise for your friend.

ps. i promise warm nights exist in California, like really they do. just this year spring and summer got lost somewhere and it's awful!
